Photo of massage treatment

"I first started seeing Margaret seven years ago for a shoulder injury that had defied treatment by orthopedic specialists and other physiotherapists. I lift weights regularly, I am aerobically fit, and I have a good extensive knowledge of biomechanics. I was diagnosed with degenerative arthritis condition in my shoulder. Margaret's work cleared up the problem in four sessions and I have not had a problem since. She has consistently achieved a greater long-term benefit for my condition than any other massage therapist."

Who I Can Help

Sudden Injury and Accident Victims

Massage therapy treatment advances the recovery and prevents compounded debilitation from a motor vehicle accident. Many car accident victims experience whiplash, which causes pain, headaches, dizziness, jaw pain, upper neck, lower back pain and chest pain because of front and side airbags.

I also treat students hurt from sporting injuries such as sprains, broken bones and other acute trauma. Massage therapy has demonstrated a faster healing time from pulled muscles and strained ligaments, allowing for a quicker return to the sport.

In addition, I treat the elderly from injuries sustained during a fall.

Occupational Workers

Desk jobs, factory, retail, physical workers, construction and builders all use repetitive motions in their daily work. Massage therapy helps to safely monitor balanced muscle development, keeps muscles functioning properly and can relieve the pain and immobility from a frozen shoulder, tennis elbow, carpal tunnel syndrome or other repetitive strain injuries.
